Rumors have been flying for months that Rihanna and Chris Brown are more than just “on each other’s songs,” and that Jay-Z is NOT pleased about it.

But it looks like he’s finally laid the smack down and it worked!

An inside sources says that Jay-Z told Rihanna:

“Stay away from Chris or you can’t see baby Blue!”

Jay-Z’s not only Rihanna’s mentor, he’s also like her big brother. He got Beyonce to tell Rihanna he doesn’t want her around the baby if she takes Chris back.
He wants Blue to have positive role models, not someone who’d take back a man who hit her.

I think while Rihanna may love Jay-Z, Beyonce and baby Blue like family, after all she’s been thru with Chris, if she really is/was back together with him, no ultimatum will stop her – she’ll just be more sneaky!

Jay-Z is rumored to be working on a $150 million tour thru Live Nation for his wifey!

Sources say that Live Nation offered him a lower amount for Bey, no word where it stands now.

Beyonce has been confirmed for few shows already (not tour related) Memorial Day weekend in Atlantic City at Ovation Hall for 3 nights.

Even superstars get starstruck. Just ask Beyoncé. The pop singer has posted a handwritten fan letter on her website praising Michelle Obama as “the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman.” In her note she gushes that “no matter the pressure and the stress of being under under the microscope” the First Lady always manages to be “humble, loving and sincere.”

The new mom, whose daughter Blue Ivy was born January 7, ends her letter by thanking Mrs. Obama for all that she has done saying, “I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you, to look up to.”

This isn’t the first time Beyoncé shared her appreciation for the First Lady. Last year, she joined Mrs. Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign, which looks to fight childhood obesity in America. She re-worked her single “Get Me Bodied” to create the song and video for “Move Your Body.” This became the anthem for the initiative’s “Let’s Move! Flash Workout” program, promoting physical activity among school children.

Beyonce’s been doing a lot of letter writing lately. Last week, she posted an adoring note about Sade, writing, “Her music has been a true friend, as all true music should be.”

She’ll return to the big stage this Memorial Day for a three-day stint at the Revel casino, Atlantic City, NJ’s brand new mega-resort . This will be Beyonce’s first live show since giving birth earlier this year.

We all know Beyoncé’s got it going on, but People has made it official, crowning her the World’s Most Beautiful Woman of 2012 in their latest issue.

The 30-year-old singer told the magazine she owes the honor to her little girl, Blue Ivy.

“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth,” she said. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.”

Though the “Single Ladies” singer was overwhelmed by the title she was excited to know she earned it after becoming a mother. Since 2000, seven of the honorees have been moms including Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman and Angelina Jolie. Julia Roberts, a mother of three, was honored twice, once in 2000 and again in 2010.

In the article, the usually tightlipped singer gives her beauty tips and talks about losing the baby weight, but spends most of the time just gushing about motherhood.

“The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy,” she said. “The word ‘love’ means something completely different now.”

Beyoncé and Jay-Z might be the best travel agents ever. After the couple took a trip to Croatia last year, tourism spiked. Now the mayor of one Croatian island is offering little Blue Ivy honorary citizenship.

After the superstar revealed her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, Bey and Jay took a trip to the Croatian island of Hvar. While there photogs snapped the first shots of the singer’s baby bump.

These photos obviously brought attention to Beyonce’s impending motherhood, but also peaked people’s interest in the island along the Adriatic Sea. The mayor of Hvar, Pjerino Bebic, is even offering their baby girl honorary citizenship for the rise in tourism.

According to the island’s local paper, Dalmacija News, the mayor wrote the couple a thank you letter to share the big news.

“The story of the origin of your girl’s name, Blue Ivy, has brought huge media attention and great tourism promotion to the town of Hvar,” Bebic wrote. “I have decided to grant your daughter the status of honorary citizen of the town.”

Bebic is also taking credit for their little girl’s name after a video surfaced of a pregnant Beyoncé identifying blue ivy growing on a local tree.

Queen B and Jay-Z have yet to comment on the mayor’s claims. Though with fields of lavender, ancient olive trees and vineyards a plenty, more people might want to take the couple’s lead and plan a visit to Hvar.

Jay Z’s upcoming Made In America festival kicks off this weekend, and it is already PACKED with some fantastic talent!  Everyone from Drake, Run DMC and to Calvin Harris are set to perform … but the line-up is about to get that much better!

Beyonce is now planning a surprise performance at the festival on either September 1st or 2nd!!!!  Her performance is supposed to be “top secret” (so much fror that… right?) and filmed for Jay’s documentary about the festival.

What about Blue Ivy?  Shouldn’t she make an appearance too!!?

In this weekend’s New York Times Magazine, Jay Z talks about his career and of course his little girl Blue Ivy.

In the article, Jay talks about growing up in the project houses of Brooklyn and how his childhood prepared him for the roughness of his neighborhood.

Jay says that he used to get into fights with his brother, but it was all for a good cause.

“My brother would beat me up,” he says. “[But] I was going to have to fight, I was going to have to go through some things, and they were preparing me.”

While Jay was forced to fight, his eight month old baby girl with Beyoncé will not have to worry about throwing any punches. But that doesn’t mean he’s going to take it easy on his baby girl.

“She doesn’t have to be tough,” he said. “She has to love herself, she has to know who she is, she has to be respectful, and be a moral person.”

Shortly after Blue Ivy was born, her parents, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, petitioned to trademark her unique name. But it seems someone else already owned the rights to the moniker.

For the last nine months, Veronica Alexandra has been fighting for trademark protection of Blue Ivy, the name of her wedding and event planning business.

The Boston business owner told the Boston Herald that she started to fight for the name, which reflects “wedding tradition and romanticism,” right after she heard Jay & Bey were looking to own the rights to the name. Rumor was that the couple was looking to start a line of baby clothes.

After winning the lawsuit, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office sent a suspended letter to Beyoncé and Jay-Z for their pending trademarks. Alexandra, on the other hand, was able to get back to work. 

“I definitely needed to protect what it is I’ve been living on,” she said. “Now it’s time to create the partnerships and business avenues I’m planning on doing, period.”

In the end though, Alexandra says there’s no love lost between her and the superstar couple.

“I can’t be frustrated with something I think is going to bring me to produce and define my brand even more, which is financially exciting in itself and intellectually exciting as well,” she said. “It’s like they caused me to create more opportunity for myself.”

She even features a banner wishing congrats to the proud parents on her website and we’re sure she’d be glad to plan any upcoming parties baby Blue is throwing.

Beyoncé only has nice things to say about President Obama. So many nice things in fact that she decided to put them down on paper.

The singer posted a handwritten letter on her website yesterday thanking the Commander in Chief for all that he does.

“Everyday we see your heart and character,” she writes. “Inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves.”

She continued by saying that Obama is the person who will lead the American people to where they need to be.

Bey also commended him for inspiring the youth of America, including her baby girl, Blue Ivy and her sister Solange’s 8-year-old son, Julez.

“You are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be,” she writes.

Beyoncé wrote a similar letter to Barack’s wife, Michelle earlier in the year, praising the First Lady for being “the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman.”

Back in September, B and her hubby, Jay-Z helped raise money for Obama at a campaign fundraiser they hosted in New York City and most recently she’s been rocking her Obama hoop earrings to show her support.

Beyoncé is coming to a supermarket near you, thanks to a multi-million dollar deal with Pepsi.

The superstar, who first served as a Pepsi spokesperson in 2002, has been anointed the brand’s ambassador. She will not only star in a new “Live For Now” TV spot–her fifth commercial with the soda company premiers after this year’s Super Bowl, where she is headlining the halftime show–but cardboard cutouts of Bey will be featured in supermarkets all around the world. 

Beyoncé’s image will also be featured on a limited edition can that will premier in Europe in March 2013. The singer plans to help the company with future designs of cans and bottles, along with additional side projects like music videos and photo shoots to promote the brand.

This is not the first time a music superstar has aligned themselves with a big name brand. Lady Gaga was named Creative Director in 2010 for Polaroid and Bey’s hubby, Jay-Z joined with Microsoft to promote his 2010 memoir, Decoded.

But with Christmas only two weeks away, we think she should put this promo money to good use.

She could add the money to her baby girl, Blue Ivy’s future college fund or invest in a luxury Tribeca loft for the little tot. Never too soon to get into real estate, we say.

For the man who has everything, we suggest she buys Jay the digital sweater, designed by fellow rapper Sean “P Diddy” Combs. The sleeve of the fleece pullover features a 2.8 inch HD screen that plays your favorite video content while you walk around. We suggest he literally wears his heart on his sleeve by playing some of his favorite Beyoncé videos.

Money and fame isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, just ask Beyoncé.

In a new trailer for Bey’s documentary, Life Is But A Dream, airing February 16 on HBO, the singer talks about her struggle with celebrity saying she battles with how much she should reveal about herself.

“I felt like I had been so commercially successful, it wasn’t enough,” she explains in the trailer. “There’s something really stressful about having to keep up with that. You can’t express yourself, you can’t grow.”

The doc, directed by the singer, uses footage shot by Bey herself and even reveals the very first picture taken of Blue Ivy: her sonogram.

Beyoncé talks about her little girl saying she knew something big was going to happen right before she found out she was pregnant. She also talks about how hard it was to keep her baby news a secret.

“They keep putting me in these tight clothes and trying to hide it,” she says, showing off her itty-bitty baby bump. “I don’t know how I’m going to do this.”

But in the end, she lets all her fans know behind all the glitz and glamour she’s just like them.

“I’m a human being,” she says. “I cry. I get nervous like everyone else.”

While fans wait to see her doc, they can listen to “Nuclear,” the latest song from Destiny’s Child, over at Mashable.

The song, the trio’s first since 2004, is featured on Love Songs, a compilation of some of the trio’s most romantic melodies, due out January 29.

Rumors are also swirling that Destiny will reunite during Bey’s Super Bowl halftime performance this February, though the group has not confirmed the appearance as of yet.

In Life Is But A Dream, Beyoncé tries to reveal more than the superstar we think we know and instead show fans who she really is as a woman.

Combining home video footage, most of which was shot by her on her computer, along with scenes of past performances, studio sessions and one sit-down interview, Beyoncé attempts to tell her story.

While flashbacks of her childhood help piece together how she got to where she is now, including the firing of her father as manager, it is when she talks about her husband, Jay-Z and her baby girl, Blue Ivy, both of whom the film was dedicated to, that we feel we’re really getting to know the singer.

Bey talks of the love she shares with the rapper saying “there were no words” to explain how his love made him feel.  In a home video from 2006 you see Beyoncé find a few words to express her feelings for her future husband, who she married two years later: “Every year I fall more in love with you. I want to spend everyday with you.”

But it’s when she starts talking about being pregnant that you begin to relate to the mega star. From finding out at 3:30 am that she was with child after a bout of morning sickness to feeling the baby kick five times and saying she hoped Jay would get a chance to feel it too, you start to feel excited for her.

When she tells the story of her miscarriage, something Jay-Z first revealed in his song “Glory,” which he made only hours after Blue was born and features her cries, Bey doesn’t make eye contact with the camera. As she explains that she had heard the heartbeat only to go back to the doctor a week later and realize it was gone, you can’t help but understand the pressures of being a star. She explains that she wrote the “saddest song she had ever written” the day after finding out. She just had to move on and go back to work.

One of the best moments is after Beyoncé finishes her drop-the-mic pregnancy announcement of “Love On Top” at the MTV Video Music Awards. After leaving the stage she announces to her team of handlers, “I’m free. We’re all free.”

No longer did she have to squeeze into tight costumes, she was free to live her life.

By the end, when you see Beyoncé holding little Blue Ivy, you are happy she shared a little piece of her life with you, but can’t help but feel like you’ve seen enough of the usually private stars personal life. You’re ready for her to go back to living her own crazy world, while you go back to yours.

Her life is but a dream, but it’s better when her life stays a bit of mystery to the rest of us.

Kids, they sure grow up fast these days! Blue Ivy is barely a year old, but she’s already breaking boys’ hearts. That must be what happens when famous parents set up play dates. 

During an interview on The Wendy Williams Show, Alicia Keys admitted that her 2-year-old son, Egypt, took matters into his own hands and planted a wet one on Beyonce & Jay-Z’s daughter.

“Egypt kissed Blue, and I don’t think Jay liked it very much,” she explained. “He called my husband and he was like, ‘Watch your son.’”

It seems romance was inevitable. The two tots have already been to a handful of musical play dates.

“We do bring our children to the studio and the kids will hang out,” Keys added.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been protective of their new daughter’s public image, but the youngster had a coming out party this weekend in her mom’s HBO special Life Is But A Dream. The doc reported drew historical ratings with 1.8 million tuning in — a record for a documentary on the network since Nielsen ratings started measuring in 2004.

In Beyoncé‘s Life Is A Dream documentary she touched on her relationship with her rap star husband, her daughter and her one-time manager  who happens to be her father. While the husband has remained quiet on the doc, and the daughter is too young to speak, the singer’s father, Mathew Knowles, offered some insight into his daughter’s new motherly role.

“I’m proud to see her as a mother,” Mathew Knowle’s told HLN. “I know this was something very important to her. To see her just hold [her daughter] Blue Ivy, that is something very special. I have a picture that nobody else would ever get to see of her holding Blue Ivy and you can see the joy in her face.”

While Mr. Knowles was tight with other details about his relationship with Beyoncé and his granddaughter, he did offer a few words on the lip-sync controversy that dogged his daughter when she sang to a backing track at the Presidential inauguration.

“When I see her perform I am so proud, it reminds me of when she was a kid and I know all of her dreams come true,” he said. “I can tell the special thing when Beyoncé is really happy, there is a certain way she dances a certain smile she has. I saw that. It brought tears to my eyes.  It’s a dad thing.”

But was the criticism fair?

“Beyoncé is a performer and she gave an awesome performance. I’m proud of her,” he said. ”I’ve been in entertainment for twenty years, there is no such thing as fair.”

Supermom Beyoncé Knowles is finally spilling the beans on how she snapped back into tip-top shape in just three months after giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy last January.

The singer covers the April issue of Shape magazine in a bright color-blocked bikini, revealing her stay-fit secrets in a behind-the-scenes video for the cover shoot (below).

“I gained 57 pounds when I was pregnant,” Beyoncé said in the clip. “I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight, because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting their second child, according to an E! Online report. The entertainment network claims that “multiple sources exclusively confirm[ed]” the story earlier. All sources in the story are unnamed.

A pregnancy might explain the singer’s recent cancellation of a show in Antwerp, Belgium on Tuesday due to “dehydration and exhaustion.” This came after fans and pundits spotted what they believed was a baby bump in photos of her appearance earlier this month at the Met Gala.

If this news proves to be true, the future of Beyonce’s North American leg of her current Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, which comes stateside on June 28 in Los Angeles and wraps August 5 in Brooklyn, might be in question.

The mental capacity of Kim Kardashian & Kanye West came up with naming their kid North West.  Yes…Kimye named their precious little girl North West.  Is this a clue of her career to come???  Why not take it a step further name her North Face West to collect an endorsement fee and free goose down jackets???

We feel bad this child is already being clowned on…as if they weren’t expecting it after this move.  Or is it so were all talking about them because Kanye’s album just came out?  I mean they did deliver the baby 5 weeks early.  Maybe to coincide with the album???  I know it sounds horrible to do…but that’s the world THEY live in.

For the record…we LOVE babies and just feel sorry for the kid being stuck with this name.  Kind of like Gweneth Palthrow named her baby Apple.  Beyonce’s Blue Ivy.  But really…who are WE to judge??  It is none of our buisness so we won’t bring it up again.  We hope she grows up happy and healthy.  Wishing their family well.
